I started training at 1st Legion when it first opened and now I am one of the coaches and fighters. I had boxed in my early teens but always struggled to stay focused. I started training in thai boxing classes and fell in love with it, I won my first 3 fights and picked up the ultimate gladiators k1 title.
I took a year out to pursue amateur boxing as we didn't have a boxing coach at that time and I felt it was an area I was strong in, but it just wasn't the same feel in the gym, I went back to 1st legion and continued to compete and picked up the ICO midlands title. I also travelled to Thailand in April to train Muay Thai for 2 months, this was a fantastic experience and something I would never have had the confidence or will power to do if I didn't walk through 1st legions doors. I competed in the world famous bangla stadium, and lost a narrow points decision to an undefeated pro.
I started fighting at amateur level, picking up a couple of belts before stepping up to professional 3 years back. Since then I have competed in the UK and Thailand consistently and have worked my way up to compete with the top this country has to offer. Looking forward to moving onto Europe and the World.
